World oldest Christian Sermon

The Christian Church was born on the day of Pentecost in about
30 AD Until the moment Jesus preached the Kingdom of
God and came to death some seven weeks.

The Apostles of Jesus with women, including Mary the
mother of Jesus praying together for a number of days.

Suddenly, all "got enthoysiasete" and started talking
very loudly. And a very strange happened. Began
Speaking in languages that do not know.

There was such a mess, it attracted a crowd; Some said
The Apostles were drunk. others had amazing opportunity to be heard
their mother tongue from those who did not even
understand this language.

One of the disciples, the Apostle Peter, began to speak:

"Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell in
Jerusalem, is this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the
the third hour of the day.But what was spoken by
the Prophet Joel,

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith
God will pour out my spirit upon all flesh: and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men
You'll see visions, and your males aged should dream dreams: And by
my servants and for my servants I dialyma those
days of my spirit; and they must anticipate and I would like to shew
wonders in heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath;
blood, fire, and vapour of smoke must enable Sun
in darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and
notable day of the Lord came and it begins to move,
whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord must
Save.

"You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man
approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs,
made by God himself in the midst of you, as you yourselves for
therein, we also delivered the determinate counsel and
foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have
He was crucified and slain: whom God hath raised up, having free
the pains of death: because it couldn't that have
be holden. For David speaketh concerning him,

"I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for the
It is in my right hand, that I should not be moved:
Rejoice, my heart and my tongue was glad; Moreover also my
flesh shall rest in hope because thou wilt not leave my soul
in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see
corruption.Thou hast made me Thou their lifestyles.
shalt be my full of joy with the admit. "

"Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the
Patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and
sepulchre is with us unto this day, so that a prophet
and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of
the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, this could create
up Christ to sit on his throne he seeing this before he spake of
the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not in
Hell, neither his flesh see corruption. This Jesus hath
God raised, credit we witnessed to by
the right hand of God exalted, and having received from the
Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this,
you now see and hear for David is not ascended into the
heavens: but he saith himself,

"The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right
hand, until your enemies Thy footstool. "

"Let us therefore his home, we know that Israel eventually
God hath made that same Jesus, whom you crucified, both
Lord and Christ. "[Acts 2: 14b-36]

This message has a phenomenal impact The hearers wanted to.
you know what to do next. again Peter speaks:

"Repent and be baptized every one of you during
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you will
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost for the promise is unto
you and your children, and for all who are afar off, even
as the LORD our God shall call. "[38b-acts 2:
39]

Whereas a sermon that one group that was "to the public
square ", as a result of 3000 converts to Christianity and they
were all baptized and they continued faith as
in accordance with instructions given by the Apostles.

This was also the beginning of the Verse Roman Catholic Church.
10 explicitly mentions, in addition to the Jews and people from
other countries, and strangers from the Rome ".This is certainly
understood as the country was under Roman occupation.

The Church in Rome grew so much that the Apostle Paul dedicated
the whole epistle to the Romans before he went there.
History confirms that existed underground of the Roman Church
right (actually literally) through the worst persecution .this
continues until today.

But the best part is the last statement of Peter cited above:
"For the promise is unto you, and your kids and all
that is far off, even as many as the LORD our God shall
Call. brings old sermon 2000 years
Today we than 30 AD, certainly "away".

I suggest you use the sermon. Quote here with the old
King James version where there are no copyrights. Select a
modern translation, if desired. will not return of God
void.

It is therefore inspired-reading life Story and priests read again by Robert Murray Mccheyne

There are sometimes when one reading your encounters spiritual gems and you have noted these words before long slide into oblivion. This was the famous Scottish preacher Robert Murray McCheye, who said, "the dark hour makes Jesus light". Served in Dundee, and died at the age of the Ministry only 29 but exercised and more powerful and influential.

What was it like returning to look at the life of Robert Murray McCheyne? When I came home from speaking and teaching in Kenya a year ago this week, there was an invitation to attend Conference for Pastors and Leaders; I was a member of this Group Conference for more than 30 years and our 230 met in early January in Crieff.

A guest contributor was to talk about the life and Ministry of Andrew Bonar. Which immediately drew my attention for various reasons. Andrew Bonar was a close friend and colleague Robert Murray McCheyne and andrew Bonar preached and taught at Collace which is just outside Perth in Central Scotland.

When I was a student at the University of Edinburgh divinity I used to be called upon to conduct services of worship and preaching in Collace and so the link, it was clear and attractive. At that time, distance back to the mid-1960 's, it was an honour to be invited to lead other prayer and preach the word of God when Andrew Bonar and Robert Murray McCheyne is used for the Minister.

And, now, here was a man who knew the lives of these two men closely, and who was our open to various aspects of their lives. I must say that I am disappointed that was inspiring.

Will soon be again January and that very special new year's Conference takes place again in Crieff. to have engaged in this very closely the principle is a privilege. These Pastors and leaders are almost all so much younger than me but few of us already from the very beginning still attend.

There are cases when a call comes in and just sounds different. deny these important moments of your pass.We miss him very much if we neglect these opportunities.

But let me encourage you to read the life and works of Robert Murray McCheyne and then go and read the prospectus and moving calendar Andrew Bonar.I do not think it will become disillusioned. these men of God did not disappoint.Have something vital to share and to say to us that we must be guided in this present world conditions.

It is good, in the light of which should remember that there are only two days on my calendar?today and the day of judgment. What a salutary thought!

Can you pay for the book that contains the Gospel and the Church or chapel is preached, and even for the Minister, who supported you, but the Gospel itself is as free as the light that shines like rain and dew falling from above, as in air inhaling your and other blessings of God.

If the service of God deserves nothing deserves everything We find ourselves better. remuneration in the work of the Lord if done with determination diligence. Labor is not in vain in the Lord, and the psalmist, I know and certainly knew that excessively; Bathroom yourself the richness of the Psalms.

The Evangelist who never supported for eternity is great about numbers. isn't apt to converts many hundreds where no restitution, confession and not happy cry that proclaims, "the loss is found, the dead are alive again!»

We have been told by those who know what we are talking about and will say without hesitation that the most urgently needed by the Christian Church sermon and today it is true, as is the biggest and most urgent need in the Church, it is obvious that the greatest need of the world as well.

If only Leaders ' summits and conferences understands this fact. these Prime Ministers and foreign secretaries and Presidents and Chancellors could benefit so much.

Christian is a Christian

Our Church and our pastor, although United, pushing for everyone to get into small groups. There is no adult Sunday School classes, in fact, choosing to focus on small group Ministry instead.

We use some of the ideas of Rick Warren. I know. Some folks don't like this. But the lessons about purpose driven church helped us.And now we are involved in the campaign "40 days of Community ' intellectual development. focus: what on earth are WE here?

Today, as I sat scribbling notes while our pastor preached, I realized that the message is available to all, regardless of what beliefs or lack thereof.

The message today was about how we need other people in our lives and how we have created an independent but interdependence.

Were the main ideas presented:

1) I need others to walk with me.

2) I need others to work with me.

3) should pay special attention to me by others.

4) I need others to laugh and weep with me.

These ideas apply to us all, no matter what we think about God or Jesus. we need each other, and this is a message that is often present. This is not a message taught our children to school.Today, people think they can do it all and do it all by themselves. In particular, women, have this mindset believe we can work outside the home, plus the best MOM, wife, warmth, laundress, Cook, nursemaid, etc.It is no wonder we get so tired unless so cranky, sometimes we really weren't created to do everything alone.

My next point sermon apply more to the Christian community.

5) I need others to live with me.

What really hit me this morning was the reminder that better control of all is to love for believers of other believers.

This is where Christians fall short; that's why others, even those who are seeking God or some kind of response to spiritual struggles, to turn away from the Christian Church; we are so busy talking about how we should worship, regardless of whether we should use grape juice or wine for the society, and other things that are insignificant to the Lord, that we humans away instead of collection to the Fold.

Jesus said, "your love for one another will show the world that you are my disciples."John 13: 35 NLT

1 Thessalonians 5: 12 GW ways, encourage each other and reinforce one another. "

CEV Hebrews 13: 6, "Maintaining concerned with each other and supporters of the Lord 's."

When was the last time that you prayed for the Church down the street, with a different name; When was the last time you got into discussions with other Christians and kept silent about your differences and includes important things that we share?

In the world around us, Christians are Christians; And you know something? Have the right idea.

Miracles are not always the best for our God

I am always curious to why people turn to Jesus Christ as Savior. I know we will be turned on for us to God as there was no where to turn. Christians have told us that God will ease our weight. We turned to God about 2 1/2 years ago. The journey was filled with trials and tribulations, just the opposite than we expected. Kept asking God for miracles and although God has run supranatural miracles in our lives, they were those who seek.

Maintained by focusing our requirements were secular. We have never once again in recent days are worried about the requirements of God for our lives. Purpose and for our lives. Much prayer, search the Scriptures; and present many sermons and tracks leading pastors gave us an understanding and has blessed us with the knowledge that our Earth's aim is to serve God. To reach our destiny and to do everything that he has instructed us to do. Now to reach the place where we come to God because we need him, normally we did some sort of wrong choices in our lives. We then God to ask him for a miracle to get us out of the situation. It then becomes our focus. Can perform God a miracle for us; let us not forget our purpose.

God is supranatural, this provides Super and provide natural. We received our natural affixed; We did this for years. We need to marry super natural. We want to strive to get to the place where there is no need for miracles. We want to get a place where blessed everyday. Where we have prosperity in every area of our lives.Should become anointed. When we become anointed we have God given supranatural, within our power to create results that we want, when they are in accordance with God's will; that is, in my opinion the theory of how to reach overflow. I look forward to the journey with Christian brothers and sisters.

On a cool crisp morning an hour after waking up, I had just walked myself into the day. I made myself a cup of coffee and relaxed in my chair. I was having a different morning. It was easier for me to get up and roll out of bed. It was easier for me to get active and actually accomplish some things first thing in the morning. I printed a letter that needed to go out and I already had it in the envelope with a stamp, addressed and everything. That was rare for it only being an hour after waking up in the morning. I just felt like everything was going to work for me today.

I had struggled with something the day before though. It actually started a few weeks earlier. I received a letter in the mail that really perked my interest. It promised me a book for free. I had been chosen by a secret society and I would receive the book for free. Exactly! I started to look a little closer at the letter. I read every line carefully. The secret society was made up of celebrities and wealthy business people. They were all anonymous, but the letter claimed that if I knew who was in the society and who had chosen me to be a part of that society that I would really be impressed. Finally, I was urged to send the form back within a few days or else all opportunity of being a part of this society would be lost. Well, I was going to get a book that contained all the secrets of the rich and famous for free. So, I sent the form.

A few weeks went by and I finally received the book in the mail. It was a little over fifty pages. So, I can read that in a little over an hour. I started reading. Story number one told me that an ancient manuscript from a Greek society has been passed down from person to person and was about to be placed on my lap. Everyone who comes into contact with the manuscript lives a blessed life. It happens automatically even if you only read the bold headings throughout the thousand page book. Somehow the secrets that are contained within the manuscript magically enter your life and you begin to see differences right away.

Story number two was a heart wrenching piece talking about how this ancient manuscript can change your life. It was a testimony of a lady who was an actress and that if she were to reveal her name to me, I would know it immediately. She was given the manuscript by a Las Vegas gambler who couldn't lose. His life was so blessed that he could accurately guess what other people were going to do or what they were thinking. He was able to beat them at every game. He also knew that she would enter a library in an obscure place weeks from the first time they met. So, he left the manuscript there for her. When she found it, she was amazed. But as soon as she read it, things started changing for her. She lost weight and became more attractive. She fell into fortune and her husband fell in love with her more deeply than ever before.

There were three other stories, but you get the picture. Every testimony was a heartbreaking story of how a person was down and the manuscript magically landed in their lap. It changed their lives. Romance was better. Weight loss was effortless. Friends were flocking to them. They were amazingly turned into the most charming people on the face of the earth and they couldn't help but to amass great fortunes. The manuscript was that special. And it would only cost me...

A one thousand page manuscript passed down from the ancient Greeks containing all the secrets of the powerful and the wealthy would only cost me... I was a part of a secret society. I had been chosen because I had the traits. I was special just like everyone else in the society. I would be amazed when I attended the summit and saw who else was in the society. But, I had to keep it secret. No one was to know about our connection. The society could make millions of dollars and get a Nobel Peace Prize if they published the manuscript and let everyone have it. But, they weren't into making it public property. I could have it for...

Have you ever just wanted to believe in something so much? I put the little booklet back in the envelope it came from and I put the order form back in the envelope with it. I looked out the window and thought to myself, "If only something like that were true. If only something did have a magical ability to help me lose these few extra pounds and help me make better decisions so that the work I'm doing would make me financially independent if not incredibly wealthy. I wish something like that did exist!" I opted out of purchasing the thousand page, twenty three hundred year old manuscript. I would love to know the secrets if there were any. But, something was telling me not.

If I was chosen for this society, why wouldn't they just give me the manuscript? Everyone else in the booklet I read was simply given the manuscript. Why did I have to buy it? Plus, I had encountered this so many times before. The empty promises of secrets and becoming wealthy, powerful and famous. You lose your precious time and money learning that there are no secrets. You've just been played again like a pawn in a chess game. Regrettably, I had to pass. And I say regrettably because I wanted to know someone's secrets. I wouldn't mind being wealthy, powerful and famous. And I'd love it if it was that easy. All I had to do was learn the secrets and I would have a blessed life. Who wouldn't?

But, I had to go back to work. I had wasted enough of my time reading this free fifty page advertisement for a manuscript I would have to buy if I wanted to know the secrets. So, I went back to work. That night I slept comfortably. It was a decent sleep with no interruptions. That wasn't common. I woke up earlier than usual and made myself a pot of coffee. I went straight to work on things that I needed to get finished. I was getting things done before I'm even normally awake. I had a different kind of energy and when I thought about working out, it wasn't just a thought. It was going to happen this morning. It was a great morning. The coffee even tasted better.

I slowed down to look out the window and think about that manuscript. Had something from that booklet actually lit a spark in me? It said it was magical how it all works. If only something like that were true. But no, I don't believe that there is a magical secret thing.

And as I looked out the window still thinking about it, still thinking about how I wish there was some magical secret thing to make life so much easier for me, I had to smile. I may not have found the secret magic of the universe, I may not have been chosen by some secret society and I may not ever even see an ancient manuscript containing all the secrets of the rich and famous, but I still smiled. I had a new energy this morning. I had a new feeling. I'm going to be everything I want to be without that manuscript. I don't need any secrets. In fact, I'm already on my way.

"I don't need any of that stuff!" I thought and I felt a warm smile come over me like a blanket reassuring me. I was right and I knew it deep down in that place where the truth is burned free from the rest of the noise and illusion.

Now, I'm not a religious fanatic. I don't believe in any organized religion at all. I don't like the guilt trips you get because you don't go to church and you don't pay your tithes and you aren't at Bible study. I don't like people wrapping religion up into little boxes so that the masses can handle it. I don't like the freeze dried religion that makes people feel comfortable and less involved in the world. I don't like the dangerously fanatical religious zealots who would blow up abortion clinics and fly airplanes into buildings. I hate sermons about drinking and cults, premarital sex and gambling. I mean, can't I do anything? I don't go to church and I don't make it a habit of preaching, because simply enough I don't like church and I don't care for presumptuous sermons.

But, that warm smile was like an answer. I didn't need all that stuff of prestigious societies and ancient manuscripts containing secrets of the rich and famous.

"I don't need any of that stuff at all!"

"That's right son!" I felt it. I actually felt that. Like I was going to start being more motivated. I was going to lose those pounds and I was going to become more successful. And while I'm at it, I just might find that person who is right for me. But, I didn't need any secrets. I just needed that touch, the warm smile that covered me like a parent reassuring the son.

No. I don't go to church and I don't sit through sermons. I don't watch religious programming on the television and I don't subscribe to remedies that promise to make my life easier and more fulfilled.

But, I love those little touches of God.
